The Thompson Center’s third conference on “Increasing Independence for Wisconsin’s Disabled Population” was held via webinar. This conference focused in particular on managing the transition to living independently and working as adults with a disability. A panel discussion also approached the topic of how technology can be optimized to facilitate the independence of adults with an intellectual or developmental disability. Michael Morris, Executive Director of the National Disability Institute & The ABLE National Resource Center, gave the keynote address.
